This is our Puerto Vallarta report with photos. Think of it as a LONG shore excursion for the Mexican Riviera. On February 14, 2009 we arrived at the El Presidente InterContinental Hotel in Puerto Vallarta and fulfilled a dream - it was definitely a wonderful experience.

Puerto Vallarta Review and Photos: This is our report on our trip to the Mexican Riviera. We stopped here in 2007 on a shore excursion and decided to return for a full weeklong stay. The travel dates for this report were Feb 14-21, 2009. We spent the entire week at the IHG InterContinental hotel. The El Presidente is on a secluded beach just a short 30-minute cab-ride south of Puerto Vallarta. It is easy to reach from either the airport or the cruise terminal. We had previously done our own shore excursion from the cruise ship to this same hotel - it is a hidden gem with beautiful beaches on the bay.
